ANCC Convocation 2026

Pilgrims of Hope, Disciples on Mission

Join us this summer for the American National Catholic Church Convocation 2026, a biennial gathering taking place August 13–15 at the Claggett Center in Adamstown, Maryland. Held every two years, this special event brings together clergy and laity from across our parishes for a time of prayer, fellowship, and renewal. It is a meaningful opportunity to reconnect as a national church, deepen our shared faith, and strengthen the bonds that unite us in Christ.

This year’s theme, “Pilgrims of Hope, Disciples on Mission,” invites us to reflect on our call to journey together with hope and to live out that hope through service and witness in the world. Through liturgies, workshops, and communal gatherings, we will explore how we are each sent forth as disciples to bring Christ’s love to others.

We are especially blessed to welcome Chris Brunelle as our guest musician. A lifelong Catholic music minister, Chris is an accomplished guitarist and vocalist who began leading music in the Church at a young age and has served for nearly three decades as a parish music director. Based in Portland, Oregon, he is widely known for his extensive online ministry, where his YouTube channel features thousands of liturgical music selections that support prayer and active participation in worship across the globe. Through his concerts, Chris weaves together music, storytelling, and faith, creating an uplifting and prayerful experience for communities.

Our keynote speaker, Emily Sanna, is a respected writer and editor and currently serves as Managing Editor of U.S. Catholic. She brings a thoughtful and compassionate voice to contemporary Catholic life, engaging themes of faith, justice, and hope in ways that resonate deeply with today’s Church.

We invite you to be part of this inspiring gathering as we pray, learn, and grow together as Pilgrims of Hope, Disciples on Mission.
